I was excited about this trail camera setup as soon as I walked away from it. I found it exploring an area I had never been to (no one I know had either, so I didn't know what to expect). I scouted it using maps online then went in on foot. The animal sign was plentiful leading to this spring and I knew that the water there would be a magnet for wildlife. I ended up getting some of my best mountain lion footage yet here, including a lion actively hunting deer. I've also never had a spot with this many mature male coues deer in it.
