Sambar deer was introduced in Australia back in the late 1890s and early 1900s and they have since bred and now they can be found in many parts of southern Australia.
As a wildlife enthusiast and photographer, I find them truly amazing and since I have no chance of seeing them in person, I use trail cameras and in these videos, I was lucky enough to find a muddy wallow and originally I had one cameras set up but then I set up a second one and it was awesome to see the stags wallow from two different angles and it was awesome to get the close up videos which is something I had never managed to get in the past.
