The time has come to say goodbye to my Tasco trail cameras. With so many other trail cameras out there and the prices on those cameras coming down I feel there are so many cameras out there that take better quality pictures and video than the Tasco trail cameras. Don't get me wrong, the quality in the build of the Tasco trail camera is great and its hard to find a better built game camera than the Tasco. But the quality of the pictures and videos are just not on par with the newer cameras at the same price point. Tascos are built like little tanks, rugged and dependable, but when you compare the video to other new cameras, the new cameras provide a better quality image. And when I produce a weekly Trail Cam Tuesday video, Its hard not to notice the difference. I have had Tasco cameras in the woods for nearly 5 years, The only problem I had was one of them had battery corrosion in the battery department. A simple fix ( That you can see here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ndMabFCDt4 ) and it was back up and running. I just feel its time to retire the Tasco trail cameras and try the newer cameras.
