Riding one of the less developed trails out to a trail cam at Camp Oot-Oot in Mount Chase, Maine June 11, 22. This cam so far has caught: moose, deer, fisher cat, raccoon, red fox and black bear. We're trying to get bobcat and Canada lynx - so it is now baited with... Wait for it... SKUNK ESSENCE! And man does it smell like skunk. Supposed to really draw in the predators. Only time will tell. Two of the five cams out now are baited this way. Helga, our camp mascot is in her absolute glory living in the north Maine woods!
