Going into the Kentucky this summer we were planning a total of 3 separate trips prior to deer season and each trip had a different strategy when it came to trail camera placement. The first trip we mass set cameras to locate a couple shooter bucks, the second trip we wanted to cluster cameras on those bucks and trip 3 we wanted to micro adjust cameras to gather as much intel as possible and find hidden movement patterns on these bucks. The 9 point has definitely been the most regular for us and has taught us a lot about just how precise you need to be in order to get these deer on camera and the 10 point has been a bit of a mystery, as he hasn't shown up nearly as often. Kentucky deer season 2023 is a week and a half away and we're ready to get our saddles in a tree and chase some giant velvet bucks!
