The fair was held at the Elgin Town Hall (which is no longer used by the local council and is now an events venue) and included many other types of models as well as trains. An excellent glossy exhibition guide was provided with descriptions of all exhibits and a plan. As you can imagine for a show in Elgin, there are a few layouts based around whisky distilleries.
For the third weekend in a row ScotRail was disrupted by poor weather in the north east of Scotland making travel difficult.
The exhibition was organised by the Elgin Model Railway Club.
For layouts we have featured in earlier videos we try to concentrate on new features and/or different rolling stock if possible.
