This video contains more wildlife clips around a creek and beaver pond on my property near Lincoln Nebraska. I started making these videos in December 2019 after a family of beavers moved in probably around June 2019 when they chewed down trees and constructed a dam. The subsequent ecosystem that developed as the water from the small creek filled the area became home to fish and turtles and attracted a variety of wildlife including herons, coyotes, deer, ducks, geese, raccoons, muskrats and many others along with of course, the beavers. Sadly, some heavy rains in June 2022 wiped out the dam and drained the pond as shown in this video. The beavers didn't try to repair it and have apparently moved to some new location to start the process over again. Everything on my land is back to what it was 3 years ago. Although they chewed down a lot of trees, I enjoyed getting videos of these amazing aquatic engineers. Maybe they'll come back sometime in the future.
