171” Kansas Bow Kill | Trail Camera Tactics & Bucks in Matt’s Barn | #deerseason23
In this episode of Deer Season ‘23, we are checking up on Matt Drury’s new farm. He and Scott finish up a big project and are also able to clean up the old barn out on the property. Thanks to Reconyx trail cameras, they find out what is using the barn as cover to hide from this blistering summer heat.
We then tag along with Forrest Bonin at Terry’s farm. Lucky for Forrest, Boatman AG Drone Services helped him out by getting 25+ acres of corn and beans sprayed. Forrest talks us through his trail camera strategies and where he likes to place them this time of year.
Following this, long-time team member Eric “Booty” Bothun takes us on a bow hunt from last November. After a hard week of hunting, a 171” Kansas giant steps out late in the evening. Watch until the end to see Eric fill his last tag of the season.
