I put a trail camera out on a river in British Columbia, Canada, and recovered it 150 days later. The transformation of this place was incredible, and I was thrilled with what the camera picked up.
Unfortunately, they don't make this particular trail camera anymore, so I wouldn't recommend it, but I would recommend a few cameras.
When buying a trail camera, ensure it shoots at least 30fps. Many cameras will advertise 4k, but they will be 20fps or 12 fps, leading to shuddery footage.
