Toucan Rechargeable Battery-Powered 180 Degree Wireless Video Doorbell with Night Vision + Doorbell Chime with Alexa Support

Recently purchased the Toucan Wireless Doorbell and was excited because of few features that looks very promising comparing with Ring. I currently have original Ring installed as my main doorbell but because of location where Ring was installed, the motion detection and video is horrible. Here is the first impression with this product:

Packaging:
Well packaged, came with everything you need to install the product.

Installation:
Very straight forward with clear instruction. Installing door bell do require some tools and it is clearly stated in the instruction. Adding the product via the iphone app is easy, setup in 10 minutes with no issue.

Functionality:
This wireless doorbell works right off the bat. Video is wide and clear. Obviously the lens is 180 degree, therefore the fisheye effect is expected. Motion sensor works great although false detection is still there comparing to Ring. The door bell is loud and clear but remember to remove the plastic wrapped on the chime.

Video quality is better than Ring during daytime. For low light images, they are quite on par. Can't really ask an excellent video when there is not enough light, right? I have a sensor flood light installed, therefore I can still get a good video if someone approaches my door at night.

Battery Life is great comparing to Ring. Unless you attach Ring to the wire; If you are running on battery, Toucan’s battery life is 3x longer than the Ring even with some false alarms.

iPhone App:
The iPhone app is simple and easy to navigate, and it enables the video way faster than Ring doorbell. The reason why I only give it a 4 star is because when trying to delete the events during my testing, the app doesn't allow me to delete them. I tried a few times and only video clips are allowed to be deleted, the doorbell events stayed in the event even after deleted.

Subscription Services:
With Ring doorbell once purchased and setup, you have 30 days trail period with cloud storage and other features, but with Toucan, some features like Siren duration are paid subscription service. I would like to try these features to determine if I need these services before I subscribe, this area really needs improvement.

Overall, it is a good product, especially 180 degree HD video under daylight. You are able to see where the package was delivered at your door. Camera can be enabled faster than the Ring (a big plus because I hate to wait 30 seconds like Arlo to enable video). iPhone app really can use some
Improvements. I replaced my Ring at the front door with Toucan and will continue to use this product.
